Flaminio
Quieter residential area on the tram 2 line, the most direct route to the stadium.
- 03about 5 km
Centro Storico
Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and the classic Roman evening, a taxi or tram ride from Foro Italico.
- 04about 7 km
Trastevere
Rome's most atmospheric nightlife district, though further from the stadium.
- 05about 6 km
Termini
Plenty of hotels at every budget, with bus 910 straight to Piazza Mancini.
Booking tips for show nights
Book a refundable rate as soon as you have tickets, then keep checking: prices around stadium concerts tend to peak in the final fortnight, but cancellations also appear in show week. If Rome itself is full, the last option on this list is a realistic fallback, as long as you check the last train or transfer back before you book.
Whichever area you choose, the route to Olimpico matters more than the distance. Take tram 2 from Piazzale Flaminio to Piazza Mancini, then walk about 15 minutes across the Ponte Duca d'Aosta to the Stadio Olimpico. Buses 910 (from Termini) and 32 (from Ottaviano) also stop nearby. Rome has no metro station at the stadium. See getting to Olimpico for every option.
